The 10th Annual Conference on Drug Toxicology in 2021 was held from May 21, 2021 to May 23, 2021 in Keqiao District, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, which has a long history and many famous people; The theme of the conference is to focus on the forefront of toxicology and promote innovation and transformation. Liu Changxiao, academician of the CAE Member, Liu Liang and other experts and scholars attended the meeting to discuss the development of drug toxicology.
The conference had over 600 attendees and was divided into six sub venues: Drug Research and Guiding Principles Sub venue, Safety Pharmacology Research Sub venue, New Drug Safety Evaluation Policy and Regulation Sub venue, Drug Toxicity Evaluation Sub venue, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine Sub venue, and Youth Paper Exchange Sub venue.
14 conference reports and 113 sub venue reports; QAM Tang Hengke from the Quality Assurance Department of the Center served as the conference moderator at the New Drug Safety Evaluation Policy and Regulation Sub venue and delivered a report on "Drug GLP Certification - Inspection Focus on Animal Feeding Facilities and Animal Management". The report was both scientific and down-to-earth, and received unanimous praise from other quality assurance personnel at the center. There was a continuous stream of visitors to exchange and discuss the topic. Zhu Jinchang, the head of the General Toxicology Department, gave a report on the "Effects of DH029 on the Cardiovascular System in Anesthetized Guinea Pig Duodena" at the Safety Pharmacology Sub venue. He provided a detailed report on the experimental design and results, and engaged in in-depth discussions with other center heads on key issues in an open and collaborative manner.
